Moving Forward: While each of the Highmark divisions has a distinct focus, capabilities and infrastructure can be leveraged across the divisions. Through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth, we expect to build the company to $25-30M in annual revenue within the next four years.

2009: Despite the poor economy, business grew by 10% during this very challenging year. A second federal client (Missile Defense Agency) was added. We were awarded a significant project-based contract for the State of North Carolina and expanded into the State of South Carolina. The Commercial division grew to a team of over 25 in its first year of operation.

2008: A third division was added to focus on providing professional services to private sector clients.

2006: We opened a Northern Virginia office and created two divisions: Federal and State/Local.

2005: An ownership team with a proven track record of delivering high quality staffing and professional services to federal marketplace customers acquired HCS Systems. Their industry recognition, best practices, and innovative approaches added significant momentum to our ability to grow and build capacity in the firm.

1999: We began delivering staffing, information technology, and professional services to state and local government and private industry customers in North Carolina under the name HCS Systems.
